About us

The Open Science Network Austria (formerly Open Access Network Austria) was founded in 2012 as a joint activity under the organisational umbrella of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and the Austrian University Conference (UNIKO). In 2018, the network reached the decision to expand the thematic focus of OANA and renamed itself from Open Access Network Austria to Open Science Network Austria.

Here we provide information about the mission of OANA, the members of the core team, and other contact persons for Open Science topics at Austrian institutions. You can also access information on the regular OANA network meetings as well as on OANA's publications here. If you have any questions about OANA's activities or would like to get in touch with us, please feel free to contact us.
